+JohnnyVegas
What software are you using? Try this link software The LOC software is free, Once your GPS is connected to your computer you can down load the caches you are interested in, if you save them they will be loaded onto your hard drive, or you can just open the file when you download it. When the file is open there will be an option to load the waypoints to your GPS. If you are a premium member you can download the GPX files for pocket queries and then load the cache info into a Pocket PC or a PDA. You might check page 88 of your garmin Manuel Edited September 2, 2005 by JohnnyVegas Quote Link to comment
+briansnat
Try using GPX files instead of LOC. Quote Link to comment
+FutilityMistress
I usually use EasyGPS. I have a Garmin eTrex Legend and it organizes the .loc files very well. It's a very well-named program, as it is easy! It's free, too, which is *always* a bonus. Quote Link to comment
+Miragee
The .loc files are fine, but they return very little information. If you want the ability to put information on your Palm or Pocket PC so you don't have to print out the cache pages, downloading the .gpx files is the way to go. If someone can't come up with $30.00 for a year's membership, they can join for only $3.00 per month to be able to download the .gpx files. Quote Link to comment
