24 Hour Record

I believe that 70 is possible in 24 hours with a bit of planning. Having done 34 (and it should have been 36) in 9hours including a liquid lunch, then it is possible to do another 36 in another 9 hour stint with a 4.5 sleep in between.

It requires 2 locations, first Oxford and then the K&A series.

Oh yes, and as close to June 21st as possible and a bike.

 

Getting past 50 is relatively easy and you can do it without coming to Oxford, and that would be to do the other canal series, The Grand Union between Tring and Hemel. (managed 22 in 7hours including liquid lunch)

All is possible.

Any of the records can be broken. It's just a matter of planning and having the right equipment, plus a bit of mental instability thrown in!

I concur. With a support team so you only need to cycle one way, you should be able to knock off the two canal series in one day and then go into Oxford to get as many as possible.

I did 22 in a 4.5 hours early one morning in London

 

did 13 in two hours in upstate NY

 

you have to just keep working hard for the whole day

I reckon somebody could beat 14.5 hours for Alchemy... on foot to cache from car...

 

17 miles walking and 200+ miles on the road...

 

and that was without using the cachers hotline...

You could do even more if you don't sleep - that's 4.5 hours of valuable caching time!

Especially if you go to Jacksonville. We did 64 in under five hours there last December.
