+3 Bubbas
I am new to this wonderful addiction and was just wondering what is the history behind everyones GPSr's ending up in pictures that they take? Quote Link to comment
WH
Showing your GPSr in a cache picture proves that it is a recent picture and not some old vacation photo. Quote Link to comment
+Team Cotati
If you don't show the GPSr in the picture the cache picture police will come in the middle of the night and take you away. Just having been to a location isn't good enough. You must have been there recently with your GPSr. Otherwise you likely have fabricated the whole sad incident. You know, just like the supposed landings on the moon by merican astronauts. Never happened you know. It was all filmed in a warehouse 125mi. outside Hobbs, NM. More or less approximately. We are all very proud of our GPSr's. Some of us have other things with us that we are also very proud of but modesty prevents us from showing them in mixed company. +briansnat
Its generally done with locationless (i.e. reverse) caches and with some virtuals to prove you were there. I guess GPS also show up in a lot of log photos for regular caches as well, because most of us are carrying them. Quote Link to comment
