+skyspeak
Hello, I have transfered maps and a route to my GPSmap 60. It all looks great except for one strip of road. On Mapsource on my computer, one 12 mile stretch shows the route on one road but on my GPS, it shows it taking a different road. The route should be absolutely identicial, unless I'm missing something. FYI, I have "Faster" chosen as the method of calculation on mapsource and the GPS. I am using 6.6 beta (this may be my problem). Any thoughts? Quote Link to comment
Neo_Geo
You may have a conflict of avoidances between your GPSr and MapSource. In MapSource, Click "EDIT" and then "PREFERENCES". Click on the "ROUTING" tab. In the lower left, you'll see various things to select to avoid such as "Highways", "Toll Roads", U-Turns", etc. You may have something selected in MapSource that isn't selected on the GPSr (or vice-versa). On the GPSMAP 60C: MENU - MENU - SETUP - ENTER - ROUTING - ENTER Scroll down to FOLLOW ROAD OPTIONS - ENTER There you will find the avoidances and several other options like "Best Route", "Better Route", "Quickest Calculation", etc. Quote Link to comment
