Well...I have successfully loaded my GPS many times with CitySelect maps and TOPO maps. Good point on which items should be selected. I agree. However, those items are checked. But, it won't hurt to try again. My problem is once they are both loaded, I go into the GPS receiver into maps setup. Normally, you can scroll over and view the maps and check or uncheck them. With Cityselect and TOPO loaded, I see no maps listed in the drop down box, and I can only see the basemap on the screen.

For anyone who has a Garmin GPSmap 60 (Greyscale only), or who knows someone with one, can both Cityselect and TOPO be loaded at the same time? I know other threads in this forum have reported looading both under the 60C/60CS. I've tried loading both on my 60 but it only shows the basemap. Yes, I've tried hiding the maps but all I see is the entry "Hide Basemaps". Nothing else shows up. Please, just post a quick note if you've had success or any advice. Thank you.

Hello, I have transfered maps and a route to my GPSmap 60. It all looks great except for one strip of road. On Mapsource on my computer, one 12 mile stretch shows the route on one road but on my GPS, it shows it taking a different road. The route should be absolutely identicial, unless I'm missing something. FYI, I have "Faster" chosen as the method of calculation on mapsource and the GPS. I am using 6.6 beta (this may be my problem). Any thoughts?

Is there any way to reduce the amount of data that city select transfers to the GPSr? Specifically, for a given area, can I turn off POI's or other data? I have a Map 60 with only 24mb?
