Team Onebrow
I need some help, nothing serious but cannot seem to figure out how to set up my Meri Gold on the compass screen with an accuracy indicator. My friend has a Garmin Legend and he has the capability to see the accuracy in regards to his satellites and how close he is to a geocache. I would like to have that same option on my Meri Gold compass screen. I know how to customize each screen to get the functions that I want but can't seem to get this option. Can this be done and if so how? Thanks in Advance. Quote Link to comment
+Stunod
While looking at the compass screen, press MENU>CUSTOMIZE The field on the left will be highlighted. Press enter and scroll thru the possible data fields to put there. Once you select one, you will have the opportunity to change the right side field. I use distance on the left and EPE (accuracy) on the right. Quote Link to comment
IceKnight (aka VectorJoe)
Do you mean you want the EPE on the compass screen. No problem. Go to the compass screen, click MENU. Click CUSTOMIZE (first choice on my machine) ENTER. The top left data field is highlighted, click ENTER again. It then gives you a list of different data to show in that field. You can put EPE and Distance to get something similar to your friend. edited to add: Dangit, Stunod beat me by a few seconds. +Cherokeecacher
For many of your questions, you can go here, to the yahoo Group for Magellan Meridian GPS users, go to the files section, then download the PDF MeridianFAQv2_0.pdf Quote Link to comment
