+Jerseytrex
Alright I hope someone out there in the deep abyss of our caching community can help me. I've been trying to put a link from another TB on my TBs page. I know to some this may sound simple enough but not for me. It's been suggested that I just copy and paste the TB's web address and the page will automatically post it as a link but thats not happening. Instead the TBs web adress stays the same and no link pops up. This has been driving me nutz. I've seen it done on a couple of other TB pages but those owners have not responded to my e-mails. Any suggestions will help... Thanks, Jerseytrex Edited February 2, 2005 by Jerseytrex Quote Link to comment
+Jerseytrex
OK Mark (Avroair) helped me out with the links. I figured it out. But how about if you want to put a border around your cache page. How should I go about that. I can't be the only cacher with these questions. What the heck maybe I am. Quote Link to comment
avroair
To put a border first list the image on your cache page then use the following code in the short description: <body background="PASTE IN YOUR IMAGE HTML HERE"> That should work. Orange (Ed) gave me the travel bug info. Quote Link to comment
+Team Rampant Lion
Sorry, I can't help. I'm in the same "link challenged" situation as you. However, as long as we're asking, I'll add to the list... * How do you post a picture on your cache pagelike this? (briansnat) * How do you get the fancy cache page backgroundslike this? (avroair) * And how do you get that Selector thing to work? Inquiring minds want to know... Quote Link to comment

+BMSquared
I can't be the only cacher with these questions. What the heck maybe I am. Don't freak out. Although it is becoming more common, the process is the same as used in designing a web page (which you are). The tips you are receiving are probably coming from individuals who have designed a page or two in their time. It is not uncommon to not get it. Keep on practicing and it will be come second nature. Not that it is actually easy for me. I am just trying to make you feel better. Quote Link to comment
avroair
* How do you get the fancy cache page backgroundslike this? (avroair) Hey Kevin, My previous post explains that one. As for the image in the cache description (which by the way, I hate, because when I print out the cache sheets I can't fit it on one page! It is also answered above. Quote Link to comment

Here is the code I used: <p align="center"><a href="http://img.Groundspeak.com/cache/13fc47aa-0bf9-49a2-b41d-bce28e9fafea.jpg">'>http://img.Groundspeak.com/cache/13fc47aa-0bf9-49a2-b41d-bce28e9fafea.jpg"> <img src="http://img.Groundspeak.com/cache/13fc47aa-0bf9-49a2-b41d-bce28e9fafea.jpg" width="170" height="250"</p></a> This will make it clickable so you can see the full sized photo by clicking on the one on the page. You may have to play with the height and width so your photo looks right. Quote Link to comment
