+Cave Troll and Eeyore Posted September 15, 2003 Share Posted September 15, 2003 I have a Garmin Legend and was wondering if it is possible to delete a map I downloaded into it from mapsource metroguide 4.I downloaded 4 map areas and wish to delete 1 and replace it with another ? Sorry if this has been asked before but I am a newbie and only got my Legend 8 days ago. Quote Link to comment

If you can load all map segments, you can turn on or off the individual map segments using the "Setup Map" option on the map page. Since that map is loaded by default, you have to change back to the regular map in order to delete it since it's "in use". Can't remember which way I did it, but I think I did MENU->MAP UTILITIES. The menu option is gone now for me so can't give you the exact directions but it CAN be done. ~robert Notice: Driver carries less than $20 cache. Quote Link to comment
