+GeoForse
I heard about this on the Today show this morning. I was sure that it would be a hot topic in the forums by this time, but I haven't seen it mentioned. Sounds like something Geocachers would be good at, if they can decode the clues. These, apparently, are hidden in a book that you have to buy for $20 or so. Twelve Gold tokens are to be found. Supposedly, one is within a days drive of anywhere in the U.S. of A. Jeremy
This is by no means the first puzzle book. Here's one I heard about a while back. Also visit http://www.treasureclub.net which lists some current puzzle books (though mostly UK centric). Even street magician David Blaine has a puzzle book. There are a lot of puzzle hunting geocachers, but I think it would appeal more to the Letterboxing audience. Quote Link to comment
+GeoForse
Yes, I am familiar with a book by Kit Williams that was published back in the 1980's in the U.K. I think the prize (or prise) was eventually found. The the book had a strong bee-keeping, bee hive theme. GeoForse Quote Link to comment
+Kitch
I wouldn't exactly call this a geocaching topic. but to each his own. Quote Link to comment

+Du's Crew
The Kit Williams original book was "Masquerade". Still have it, I read it to my kids now, and it brings back memories of elementary school (we were devistated when the treasure was found). The Bee Book wasn't as intriguing as the first. Thought about creating a cache themed around clues in Masquerade, but I think it (the book) might be hard to find these days. Quote Link to comment
