doubledipper
I can get the Vista C for $330 adn the Meridian Color Traveller for about $350. The Color Traveller included Map softwear, cables, a SD 64MB card and a winshield mount. Which would you buy and why? Quote Link to comment

+GOT GPS?
The larger Meridian Color would be easier on the eyes while in the car than an Etrex Color would be, plus the unlimited memory available through the use of SD memory cards. Quote Link to comment
+leatherman
SD cards are so cheap now. You can get a 512meg for $45. I went on a motorcycle trip a year ago. I loaded nearly half the country on two 128meg SD cards. You should be able to load more than 3/4 of the country on a 512 card. Quote Link to comment
+hawk4hire
Ok so does this mean that you would suggest the Meridian Color over the eTrex Legend C? I am leaning that way but I really want the autorouting feature which comes with the eTrex but you have to buy the MapCD with the Mer.Color... Sooooo any suggestions.... I want the Color feature, the autorouting, and to be able to use it with Geocaching.... Advice please.... I am leaning toward the Mer.C because of the expandability... Thanx - hawk Quote Link to comment
+leatherman
Costco.com has the Meridian Color Travel pack on sale for the same price as the eTrex Legend C, 'till the 29th. That includes the Directroute auto routing software and all the car accessories. Edited November 28, 2004 by leatherman Quote Link to comment
