+candyman99
and does someone actually have to visit a new cache to approve it? Quote Link to comment
+Enspyer
No one has to visit a cache before they approve it. There's no way the approvers could manage that anyway. 6 days is still an okay time, although you should check to see if your approver has left a note on the cache page. . Quote Link to comment
2oldfarts (the rockhounders)
Yes, they visit each & every cache before it will be approved. It took almost 6 months for one of our caches to be approved because of the fact that...we live out in the middle of no-where & it took someone that long to travel from the nearest big city.... Just kidding.... Actually, it depends on how many other people have just hidden caches in your area too. & if your approver is on vacation...it will be placed on another approvers plate. But, almost all of the caches that we have placed have been approved under a week. Pretty good. Check your cache page for a note from the approver to see if he has any questions about your hide & E-mail him in return with the number of the cache so he will know which cache you are refering to. It just might take up to two weeks for an approval, especially if it is a multi or a puzzle or if they have any questions. You learn to have patience when hiding caches. Shirley & John PS, Welcome aboard! Happy Caching! Quote Link to comment
Keystone
Hello, Your cache is in the queue and awaiting review by the volunteer for your state. I can tell you that the reviewer has been out of town, and is backed up a bit more than usual. Thanks for your patience! Quote Link to comment
