amytincan
I would think it would be fun for them to meet in Vegas and get married. How could I start the two off in seperate directions? Do I need to leave one early or go find a far away cache? Amy Quote Link to comment
Gonzo-YT
That is a hilarious idea for travel bugs, do it! Easiest thing might be to mail one to another cacher far from you, and then start them both on the same day. I am sure lots of people (including me) in this forum would be willing to help out. +AuntieWeasel
Oh, well done! I'd start them on opposite coasts to meet in the middle. I'm sure lots of us would be willing to help. (East Coast dibs!). Quote Link to comment
amytincan
I've always wanted to get married in Vegas, is there another cool place to be married? somewhere in the middle? Quote Link to comment
AuntieWeasel
Oh. Huh. I didn't realize Las Vegas was so far West. I was thinking it was...in-the-middler. (No, geography wasn't my strong subject. Wiggling out of homework assignments was my strong subject). Stay with Las Vegas. Maybe start one in Canada and one in Mexico? More of a vertical thing... +amytincan
I also have a bride and groom cake topper (they're one piece) they could go to Niagara Falls for a honeymoon. Quote Link to comment
BlueDeuce
It seems to me that two people start with the same idea about getting married and then the actual wedding plans tend to go in two directions, finally arriving at the same place to commit to a union. I say start them together and let both bugs try to get to the final location. (We'll see who shows up late ). I'll bet one cacher in Las Vegas will try to get both, or two cachers will work out a plan to combine them. After that, pick a honeymoon location and let them go at it again. Sounds like a great idea. Quote Link to comment
amytincan
Ok.....so I if I should start them together then I need to specify they do not leave together initially.... I need to order travel bug tags, I'm excited about this idea. and so glad i can use a 14 yo useless wedding gift! This is fun! Quote Link to comment
amytincan
Just thought of another one....the Bachelor! Start off with 6 chicks and 1 dude and the couple who ends up in the same place first wins. Quote Link to comment
BlueDeuce
Just thought of another one....the Bachelor! Start off with 6 chicks and 1 dude and the couple who ends up in the same place first wins. Ya know, that sounds really familiar to me. Let's hope they don't make it into a reality show. No seriously. Edit: where do these emoticons keep coming from? I'm serious don't do it. Arrrrgh! Edited October 21, 2004 by Elf Danach Quote Link to comment
amytincan
thanks for your help everybody. I guess the bride and groom could go to their bachelor parties in different areas on their trip... I am ordering the bugs so I hope to get them started soon. Amy Quote Link to comment
Corp Of Discovery
Sounds like a great idea. No wedding in Vegas would be complete without an Elvis impersonator to give the bride away and be a witness...of course you are going to need a Pastor to officiate too.... Quote Link to comment
amytincan
oh dear, I suppose I'll have to post invitations and make a seating chart. Quote Link to comment
