+TravelingViking
I will be in the IAD area on a short business trip and will only have half day each on Sunday Oct-3 and Monday Oct-4 for caching. As I am bringing 10Tbs I am looking for recommendations on large, safe TB exchange places in the area. Please let me know... If anybody is interested, I would also be available to meet with cachers directly to exchange TBs - I can take bugs that like to go to Europe and or want the mileage. Olaf Quote Link to comment
+PeachyPA
Could you be more specific on your US destination? I don't know where IAD is. Quote Link to comment
+Team DEMP
Could you be more specific on your US destination? I don't know where IAD is. I'd guess it's Washington Dulles International Airport - http://www.metwashairports.com/Dulles/ Quote Link to comment
magellan315
If you look at the top of the Northeast forum there is a section with all of the area Geocaching Groups and there is Geocaching group in Maryland they could help you out. Quote Link to comment
+The Leprechauns
A quick search of the area near Dulles Airport reveals that the Herndon Travel Bug Hotel has safely hosted no fewer than 50 travel bugs during its six months in existence. Perhaps the original poster could use that cache as the starting point for a search of other caches in the area. Quote Link to comment
+TravelingViking
Ooops, sorry, yes location is around Washington Dulles Airport. That's how you know you travel to much, if you use airport codes instead of city names... I'll add the recommended TB hotel to my list, still I would prefer not to drop all 10 in one location, so if you know of more please let me know. (sometimes there are "TB hotels" not really listed as hotels, but still used a lot for bug exchanges) Olaf Quote Link to comment
