+skippysan
This travel bug made was released by a cacher from Southern New Hampshire, made it all the way to California and was grabbed by a cacher from Massachusettes. (The two cachers even know each other!) What are the chances of that! jake Quote Link to comment
+Thorn Cachers
I was on a business trip in Cedar City, Utah and took a couple of travel bugs to trade. It turned out to be very difficult, as all the caches in the area listed in having bugs were missing them. After a couple of days, I hit a cache on the way out of town (actually in Panguich) and found a travel bug. It was only when I got home to Cache Valley, Utah and logged it that I found out it was my brother's travel bug. He lives in Idaho. Quote Link to comment
+Theseus
I picked up Silver Surfer in April in MA and dropped it in a cache in Hilton Head, SC. It was promptly picked up by another MA cacher who returned SS to a cache about 17 miles from where I picked it up. What are the chances? Quote Link to comment
+Sparrowhawk
On a trip to Southern California, I noticed a TB that had been just recently dropped by it's owner into a cache down there. It's goal: the same neighborhood in Portland where I work. They wrote a pleading "help me get home" note and everything. My mischevious plan: grab that bug, fly it right back home again and say "There you are! What, you DID want your TB to come home, right?" The bug woulda only been out in the field for less than 2 weeks between dropoff and reaching it's goal. Unfortunately, it got grabbed by someone else who promptly lost it before I could get to it and execute my evil plan. It figures. Edited September 9, 2004 by Sparrowhawk Quote Link to comment
