+geographer-pam
Help please! I did my first finds today using my new little yellow ETREX (I have a Streetpilot III in my car so I didn't need a bigger one YET for gc! lol) I manually inputted the coordinates for the caches - no problem (except it took forever - I haven't learned how to download anything yet - and I will need to buy a cable, etc). I was able to find the caches using the ETREX but when I got there I wanted to take a photo of the unit with the ACTUAL coordinates listed and not just the ones I entered. Is there a way to do this on this small unit or only the bigger ones? I think I looked on every screen that I know of, but couldn't find it. I apologize if this has been discussed before and please feel free to markwell if it has! I did a search but either got nothing or WAY too many posts and none seemed to answer this particular question. TIA pam Quote Link to comment
+Team FUBAR
Your just looking to make the numbers bigger correct? I have a e trex legend and I think you;ll have the same screen I have. You should have a screen called "trip computer" Go to this page. At top of page go to left most icon and select it select Large Numbers(or something like that) you can then scroll down to one of the fields on the scren. select a field and push the click stick pick from the menue that pops up "current lat/long" it will then make your current lat and long bigger that;s thebest I can think of for ya. Let me know. Like I said I have a E-Trex Legend but I think yours will have all the same screens. Your satelite page will also display your current loc all the time but it;s too small to take a pic of. Edited August 16, 2004 by Team FUBAR Quote Link to comment

+Team FUBAR
Sorry. I thought that unit was the same as my Legend. Quote Link to comment
4x4van
On the compass screen, use the left-side up/down buttons to scroll through various fields that show at the bottom of the screen. One of them is "position coordinates" Quote Link to comment
