Hikezilla
The fall in Indiana is such a beautiful time, we are thinking about calling a cacher get-together at Johnson County Park in central Indiana. Would any of you guys be interested in attending? We can reserve a shelter house and the campground facilities there are pretty decent. We are considering the weekend of October 23rd. They have tent camping, camper camping, and luxury motorhome camping sites, with flush toilets and a shower house. Lots of hiking trails and plenty of places to hide and seek caches. Don't forget about the cacher get-together at McCormick's Creek State Park on September 18th. Info on the park: http://www.johnsoncountypark.com/ Hmmmm...9 hole golf course next door... +Will+Bill
Count us in! When are you making the cache page? The dates will work out fine for us. This should be a lot of fun. Quote Link to comment
Torry
Pencil me in. That's my old stomping ground (grew up in New Whiteland and Greenwood) Quote Link to comment
Torry
If you're going to be in the area, it looks like I'll be announcing at the Johnson County Fair Quad races (Sunday, july 18) and the Demo Derbies on July 23 & 24. Quote Link to comment
Torry
Way off topic but the thread needed a bump... Last day at the Johnson County Fair tonight! Please don't consider this a commercial plug but if there are any cachers out there I'd love to see you. I'll be the fat, furry guy with the microphone under the red and white tent. +Shaggy of Mysteries Inc
Sounds like a fun time. I'm not sure how we can help, but if you let us know what you need done, we will try to help. ~Shaggy~ Quote Link to comment

IowaAdmin
We will be in the Bloomington area Oct. 16 & 17 for the Hilly Hundred bike ride. Might be fun to stop by if you have a camping event in that area. Quote Link to comment

2qwerqE
The timing's great! That'll be the last days of my week's vacation, and I'll come. Don't know about the camping out idea, as I have no gear, but I can certainly come and play for the day. Might be able to scare up another person to join me as well. Might not. Quote Link to comment
Torry
Haven't heard much from Hikezilla.... I'm trying to keep the day free as I've had to miss out on ALL camping activities for years due to the racing work schedule. This is a great time to stock up on the gear as they run the summer close-outs. Quote Link to comment
