+Mosaica
I asked several weeks ago about the protocol involving posting logs for several of the virtual caches I'd done, and learned that for the most part it's fine to post a log at the same time as one sends email to the owner --unless the cache page specifically asks the finder to get confirmation first. Two of those caches asked for email before posting to the log, and I sent email to each of 'em, twice now, and still haven't heard back. What are my options at this point? Thanks! ../Mosaica P.S. O the Fun I'm having :-) Quote Link to comment
+Seamus
If you haven't heard from them after a week, I'd log it as a find anyway. If they aren't on top of responding to your e-mails, they probably won't be on top of screening the finds of their virtuals, either. Edited June 21, 2004 by Seamus Quote Link to comment
AC Student
I also wait a week then go ahead and log it. I send one more email to the cache owner to let him/her know, and to offer to delete my log if I got any of the information wrong. Quote Link to comment
+Right Wing Wacko
I typically don't do virtuals, but occasionally when one presents itself and I find it anyway; I always log them immediatly! The cache owner can always delete my log if they don't beleive I was there. Quote Link to comment
+Mosaica
Excellent --thanks for the feedback. I was thinking along the same lines but wanted a reality check :-) ../Mosaica Quote Link to comment
