La Question

Hi, we have looked at the locationless cache GC5536: "I Love L.A. (Now That I've Moved Out)" (link, and we have even sent an email to the cache owner and asked him about a few locations we have found in our hometown Goteborg, Sweden.

Since we haven't got any reply from the cache owner do we ask you in this forum, is this place within the city limit of LA (that is what the cache requires):

We have a street here called "Prospect Hill", and I have made some internetsearches on that name and LA, and it seems like there might be a street or place called that in LA? Is this correct?

Bel Air, is that within LA city limits? Found a hair styling salon called "Bel Hair"

Thanks for your help...

Greetings from sunny Southern California. Well, I have some good news and bad news. In my 20 years of living in Los Angeles, I've never heard of the name Prospect Hill. I couldn't find a street name like that either.

Now, for Bel Air, that does fall within the city limits. As for the name difference, I'm not sure if the cache owner will allow that or not. I guess you could always post it and see what happens. I've found that good pictures are helpful when you are right on the edge of acceptability. :)

If you need more help with other names and places from Los Angeles, feel free to ask away. I'll try and help however I can.

I have a few more, but one special in mind:

Park Avenue.

We have a hotel here called Park Avenue, located on a street called just the Avenue.

Searches on "Park Avenue" and Los Angeles on Google has give me many hits, but is there a hotel or place called Park Avenue, and within city limits of LA?

Thanks...

Well yes, there is a little tiny side street in Los Angeles called Park Avenue. I used to live near it. I'm not sure it's arguable that "Park Avenue" exemplifies anything about L.A., though--much like "Main Street" or "1st Street" would (L.A. has both, but doesn't every single city?). ;)
