How do I find caches along my travel route?

I've got a drive coming up shortly in which I have no dedicated arrival time. I thought this would be a great time to see if there are any caches along my way. What would be the easiest way of determining what caches are fairly close to the roads I will be traveling on? Is this even possible?

I heard that the newest beta of GPSBabel supports something they call ARC filtering, which allows you to filter caches along a route.

Did not try it yet, so don't know how it works.
