CaptnPea
Yo, Does mapquest or some other internet have a method of converting an address to a GPS location? Thanks, Captn Pea Quote Link to comment
boulist44
Firstly, welcome to the club, hope you enjoy geocaching as much as the rest of us do. In answer to your question. The one I use is www.heavens-above.com See how you get on, good luck Edited December 2, 2003 by Bucks Bodgers Quote Link to comment

EScout
Instead of internet, get the MS Sts and Trips program (about $15 after rebate). Type in the address and then move pointer over it on the map and read lat and long. Real quick and you can use in your car, and other places when unconnected. Quote Link to comment
xenophon10k
The one I use is www.heavens-above.com I had forgotten about that. Plus, heavens-above is just a really fun site - especially if you are as much of a geek as I am. Quote Link to comment
Markwell
First, welcome. My FAQ's first question deals with this specifically. There's a list of FAQ's pinned to the top of this area. I hope some of your questions can be answered there as well. I haven't updated that FAQ in a while - it still says: Given the rate of cache placement from October 15, 2002 - January 10, 2003, the system will run out of Hexidecimal cache waypoints around June 1, 2003. GCFFFF was hidden 4/22/2003 Oh well. Something else for me to do in these cold months. Edited December 3, 2003 by Markwell Quote Link to comment
