+pater47
Has anybody noticed that the South seems to have an abundance of these rascals this fall? Not that this means anything - I'm just attempting to get the first SE post on the new forums! Quote Link to comment

Not that this means anything - I'm just attempting to get the first SE post on the new forums! Gawd, I have... have not encountered them frequently enough to say it's an epidemic, but I ran into a pocket of them here in Alabama... couldn't WAIT to get a shower! Quote Link to comment
+bitbrain
I've stumbled through a couple of good patches of them, but nothing that would make me want to race home and shower them off. The hitchikers that bothered me were the thorny doohickies about the size of Brazil nuts. I went through a large area infested with them at the Bugman's Nighttime Cache. Quote Link to comment

+GatoRx
If they're what I think they are, they made up half of my backyard until a couple of weeks ago. Good thing it wasn't too late in the year to put down Scot's Miracle S - it took care of them in about a week. Of course, I now have large yellow and brown patches across half of the yard where they used to be. At least the dog doesn't come in covered in the things now... The joys of a new house with a yard that hasn't been properly maintained in years... Quote Link to comment
