+Debeque Doc
Has anyone else noticed that we are getting more and more caches that are so well hidden that ahen you get to cordinates there is no way to find them. I understand that cordinates can be off, as a matter of fact I use a range finder and search a circle of at least 75 yards, looking for any thing that looks unusal. While caches are not supposed to be buried or left in plain sight, I have a problem with those that are hidden so well that 3 out of 5 cachers can not locate them. This can discourage new cachers. +Renegade Knight
Hopefully people rate the cache difficulty correctly. 4 is very hard. I've seen caches that skunk 3 out of 4 rated a 1. When I pointed out that a one should probably be painted day glow orange and be visible from 100' away they upped the rating to a 2. Quote Link to comment
+Sparrowhawk
Heh. Makes me fantasize about a feature where there's the owner's rating of the difficulty and terrain of the cache, and a "average rating by cachers" of some sort... just my thought du jour. -Elana (a.k.a. +pnew
Then there's always those caches you go back for time and time again and never find because it turns out it was taken and you were the first cacher to attempt looking for something that isn't there... Quote Link to comment
