+clatmandu Posted April 1, 2002 Posted April 1, 2002 Has anyone else noticed the small map on the cache pages doesn't match up with the location. I just looked at a few in the Detroit area and the small map is of the Baltimore MD area. Last night, some showed Kansas. Quote
+Logscaler and Red Posted April 1, 2002 Posted April 1, 2002 Yea, I have seen several of those myself. I have just been sending the link for the cache page to Jeremy and he has been fixing them. Quote
+Moore9KSUcats Posted April 1, 2002 Posted April 1, 2002 The map on a cache I posted over the weekend is for all of north and south america! Do I need to do something to change it? Quote
Jeremy Posted April 1, 2002 Posted April 1, 2002 If you're the owner, just edit your cache page. The graphic will regenerate (hopefully correctly) Jeremy Jeremy Irish Groundspeak Lackey and Geopuppet Quote
Zuckerruebensirup Posted April 1, 2002 Posted April 1, 2002 I guess that was the April Fools joke on us. Quote

+Moore9KSUcats Posted April 1, 2002 Posted April 1, 2002 Hmmm.... we did a bit of minor editing (clues, etc), and reposted... said the cache post was now modified.. and the map disappeared! Oh, well.. the mapquest stuff is far more important, and that is still there. Quote
+Ltljon Posted April 1, 2002 Posted April 1, 2002 The icon on the Cache page map will show up in a different place after you click on it. There was a cache I was checking on & the first page showed it to be on the east side of the Interstate but after clicking on it it showed west side where it actually was. When you come to a fork in the road, take it. Quote
