+evergreenhiker!
Anybody know a good site or store that might carry fake rock key holders or any other natural-type key holders? I've tried searching the net and some local stores but no go. I have been using such a container at one of my caches but the creek flooded and washed it away. Quote Link to comment
+Choachy
One store I found searching for them: The Added Touch Keystone This was the only place I found that had them after a little hunting. Ive had one for years, and on the bottom key slide cover, it says "Mary Ellen's Keystone". A search for that didnt come up with anything special. FISUR
Or you can try these fake rocks. I don't know anything about the company, but they seem to have quite a selection of rocks. Rhode Island Geocaching Quote Link to comment
+Choachy
If you do a google search for 'outdoor key hider', you will get a decent return of results. Here are a few I found: DoItBest.com Rock Key hider VERY strange looking toad key hider. A little pricy. Scroll down a bit to this one. Dunno about this place. The interesting thermometer key hider And last but not least.... The ever popular and personal favorite, Pile Of Poop Key hider. Scroll down a bit to see this one. The_Brownies
I found mine at the local ace harware store. Also look at a key/lock store. Maybe even a ranch and home store. Quote Link to comment
+honeychile
They're at the dollar store (dollar tree, etc.) in our area. One side is just a rock; the other side might have bees or flowers on it. I used this as the first stage with one of my caches, just turned the "decorated" side the other way. For $1 (and no shipping/handling), it was worth it. Quote Link to comment
