pcs vision and geocaching.com

Recommended Posts

Just an idea,

I just got a new wireless phone with sprint. It has the pcs vision (in case you don't know, it allows internet accessibility)

Has anyone ever tried to log on to the geoaching site with their phone? sprint has certain sites that are formatted especially for navigation on a their tiny phone screens. unfortunately geocaching.com isn't one of them. I wanted to try to use it to look up caches in the field instead of printing all of them out.

I wonder if geocaching.com could work with sprint to make it an accessible site.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

Do I need to breakdown and buy a pda?

I think I'm going to get the premium membership anyway.

I'm not sure if Sprint uses a WAP browser, but there is (or was, I haven't checked in a while) a WAP site at www.geocaching.com/wap

It wasn't very useful, but we've been told that this might get reworked as part of the overall site redesign.

EDIT...the WAP site seems to be dead now. No big loss...
