poikää & butterfly
Butterfly and I are so enthusiastic about geocaching we often expound to friends about the fun. Last fall I gave the web page for geocaching to my friend who is also a Marquette County Sheriff deputy and a Search and Rescue member. He used the various caches in my area as an exercise for his group. He sent teams in to locate them and they left items and logged in. He has yet to log the finds on the several pages. He said the caches were a great learning lesson on how to use a GPSr and to team up to find the goal! WOW! : Quote Link to comment
Tahosa and Sons
Now if he does the real rescue, ask him several questions. That is if the rescue is treated like a Cache: 1. Who does he leave for a trade, a SAR member. 2. Would the rescue be complete if he TNLN Really this would be a good exercise in finding someone. If you want to have some fun with him send him looking for a cache but change the datum and not tell him until he can't find it. Tahosa - Dweller of the Mountain Tops. Quote Link to comment
