Guest bunkerdave Posted July 22, 2001 Posted July 22, 2001 I only have 6, plus one very successful event cache. More to come. as soon as I can find a really good spot in Utah that is still un-cached. Getting pretty tough to find, these days. (thumbing nose) Quote
Guest Alex Posted July 25, 2001 Posted July 25, 2001 I've placed 14 which I think is the top for Australia. I know others in US have done more. Is it Ron Streeter that has 24? Quote
+georgeandmary Posted January 21, 2003 Posted January 21, 2003 Just going though old threads and thought this was funny. Especially bunkerdave's comment on not finding more than 6 good spots. george Pedal until your legs cramp up and then pedal some more. Quote
bingooo Posted January 22, 2003 Posted January 22, 2003 Look at Malamute, a German gc. He counts 26. Quote
SNIFTER Posted January 22, 2003 Posted January 22, 2003 The 2 Dogs have placed well over 70 caches. These are located in 3 states. We have only had 3 stolen but we have had a few burnt in the bushfires. We have had 2 partially nibbled ones as well. Quote
azog Posted January 22, 2003 Posted January 22, 2003 tneigel has over 100 hides. Apperently someone complained to him, saying that 1/6 of the total caches in NJ are tneigel's. You can see the discussion in the Northeast forum. ---------- Do not answer a fool according to his folly, lest you be also be like him. Quote
+briansnat Posted January 22, 2003 Posted January 22, 2003 Wow, what a difference in 18 months. I have 40, but that's not even close to tops in my state (NJ). Tniegel had 124 in this area last time I looked. Among other prolific hiders are RonStreeter who now has 126, the Lil Otter with 118 and CCCoperAgency has 192 hides to go along with their amazing 1,764 finds. Other top hiders include kingboreas with 154 caches hidden, Georgeandmary with 147. I'm sure there others I may have missed. I don't know how these people have time maintain all those caches. The 2 Dogs Posted January 22, 2003 Posted January 22, 2003 The 2 Dogs team down under. We have placed around 80 caches in the south eastern region of Australia. However some of these were temps and many have been destroyed by the recent bushfires. We get around to checking and maitaining many of them but sometimes we just rely on visiting cachers reports on their condition. Happy caching guys Hounddog. Quote
Jomarac5 Posted January 22, 2003 Posted January 22, 2003 Team KFWB GPS has placed 88 caches as of todays date. Quote
+sbell111 Posted January 22, 2003 Posted January 22, 2003 My hat's off to you guys. I have 32 hides. Two of these are virts and many of the rest are micros. I can see me hiding 2-3 more 'regular' caches. That will bring me to the limit that I feel comfortable with, maintenance wise. Whenever I feel blue, I start breathing again. Quote
+Treasure Hunters Inc. Posted January 22, 2003 Posted January 22, 2003 Here in Ohio I believe the team of "Electricshavers" has the most as 106. They are just a family and not a group like some others with a lot of hides. Oh yea these are not locationless or virtuals $1000 Bill geocaching is living in a 30 foot circle Quote
