if you pick maybe, or feel you need to point something out please make a reply.

more info: i had been watching this cache for about 3 weeks. i had found it because i was checking out caches in the area i might want to visit. i emailed the cache owner and the 4 most recent "not found" cachers asking if they knew if the cache was still there. of the 3 ppl that replied, they all said about the same thing" i couldnt find it, dont know if its there, try asking.....". i then send a sent a 2nd email to the cache owner about 2 weeks ago, and a couple days ago i sent a 3rd letter explaining that i was going to request the cache be archived unless they(the cache owner) replied. i have never received any reply from them. i am considering the cache orphaned and plundered.

Mmm,

Well, I feel that it should be archived, but before that, I suggest you email one of the folks who did find it and see if they can go check to see if it's still there.

It sure looks like it's gone, and that the owner has abandoned it (Grrrr!) so most likely it will have to be archived, unless someone wants to fix it up and adopt it.

I think maybe this should be archived. In the Description, the Owner states that they live 800 miles away and are unable to tend to this Cache or should I say Missing Cache.

As is was stated,

There has been a Cache in my area that has been taken. I had contacted the owner He pulled the Cache listing. Then when I replaced the Cache for him he then relisted it. I think that we all need to help out even if a Cache owner has not responded. I have seen some Caches get adopted when a Cache owner gives up on it. It looked as if that Cache was popular, It would be ashame to loose one in a good area.

That is just my opinion,

Underdog's log mentions thay they live about a mile from the cache. Maybe they could go check it? Or adopt it?

Hey Zuck,

Web-ling quoted my entire message and wrote in his subject line "I agree with Jamie Z." and then you post that you agree with Web-ling. Does that mean you agree with me? icon_wink.gif

Looks like this has been taken care of. Thanks to the folks who stepped up to replace the cache! If not for the recent action taken, I would have suggested archiving it, but now I guess that is a moot point.
