+EthicalEgoist
Just out of curiosity, I wondered if anyone had trouble with their GPS units acting up this weekend. MacGuyEric and Fozzo Logozzo and I did a cache on Sunday, 11/2, and we had some trouble with the GPS locking on to satellites--might it have had something to do with the increased solar flare activity reported recently? _________________________ ~ Ryan S Eanes ~ RSEanes.com. +Johnnie Stalkers
We where in Red River Gorge area of the Daniel Boone NF all weekend. Logged 6 caches in all. No problems, atleast not from my GPSr. Understand what? My purpose? You know that. To find the Tower is my purpose. I'm sworn. -Roland, The Gunslinger Quote Link to comment

+1cheapmike
Saturday, 11/1/03, we were in the car on our way to the first of the day. When I got out of the car, about 10:00 EST I noticed I had lost all but one satelite. I thought it was wierd but had all the "normal" ones back in about 5 minutes. No problems ever before or after that and I wondered if coming off the car power to battery was the cause, or solar stuff or what. I had parked in a area that was relatively open too. Team Leader, my wife says so! Quote Link to comment
