  1. Each time you have a day off the honey-do list just gets longer and the cache count gets bigger. Cold weather is another excuse to add to your gear. "But honey, I NEED these mittens with the slits so I can still use the GPS!"
  2. You folks actually spend good hard earned money on gadgets, gasoline, trinkets and what not?????? Shhh, me too, but it beats the heck out stuffing it in my coffin later!
  3. 1. Take turns with the GPS. Each gets to look around a bit. 2. When finding traditional types, we like to find it - move away from it and declare, "I've seen it!" Drives the other person nuts knowing it's RIGHT THERE! 3. Check signature line in case of disputes!
  4. For some perverted reason, I found Criminal's letter to be right on the mark! Geez, having to be PC all the time gets difficult.
  5. After scooting into an awkward semi-upsidedown position to look inside a upright hollowed tree, I saw something looking back Not that I don't already carry enough crap in my backback, but I added a inexpensive (me cheap!) women's compact type mirror that when closed protects itself. It also comes in handy to shine sunlight into dark spots without having to pull out the flashlight, or check out your makeup fellas.

  7. Saturday, 11/1/03, we were in the car on our way to the first of the day. When I got out of the car, about 10:00 EST I noticed I had lost all but one satelite. I thought it was wierd but had all the "normal" ones back in about 5 minutes. No problems ever before or after that and I wondered if coming off the car power to battery was the cause, or solar stuff or what. I had parked in a area that was relatively open too. Team Leader, my wife says so!
  8. Got to use the cachemate this past weekend and actually found it more helpful than I though it would be. We got through finding our planned selections quicker than we normally do and went into cachemate and found the next nearest one and went to it. Now, with my older Visor I'm not sure what could allow me to download the maps to go with the cache text I have. Team Leader, my wife says so!
  9. Let me see, I got an older Visor for free, got the Cachemate working, and like it more than I thought I would. Now, how can I view equivelent cache maps that are associated with cache text downloaded into the Visor? What am I missing here? Team Leader, my wife says so!
  10. Since I'm frugle, I looking for things I already have. Can be used to attach to walking stick, backback and even extremities (although no direct skin contact is advisable). How about this? Team Leader, my wife says so!
