Lefty Skywalker
It seems that I get out geocaching at most once every three weeks or so. But when I do I get a big list and try to hit as many as possible. I'm on the high desert and the approach is kind of militing. I've been getting to ten or eleven a day, and that's when I go for the easy ones. Is there a record for most geocaches found in a single day? What Would Yoda Do? Quote Link to comment
+Logscaler and Red
So far, my best is 31 in a day. All physical caches and no virtuals or locationless cache finds. Several included hikes over a mile long. 400 plus miles. 19 hours. Dragging butt for a while. But there have been others who beat that number. logscaler. Quote Link to comment
+Seattle Seekers
My record is 20 caches in 9 hours. I researched the area before leaving so that I wouldnt be going back and forth. All the caches were pretty much in a line. Quote Link to comment
+travisl
Everyone who fully participated in the Bremerton Cache Machine event bagged 37 caches in one day. I'm considering doing something similar in the Yakima, Wash. area in late winter/early spring. "I'm sure she would have been thrilled to find so much pooh in a little metal box." +CWL
My max has been 13 in 7 hours. There is a guy here in Memphis that says hes hit 34 in one day, spaning 3 states. Some of the multis he says he hit took me over an hour to do. I'm not too sure if he is legit or not. He never signs the logs either. Quote Link to comment
+georgeandmary
I've done 26 once, plus a couple of other days in the 20's. Over this past weekend I found 1 on saturday (spent most of the day mountain biking), 18 on sunday, and 16 on monday. george Pedal until your legs cramp up and then pedal some more. Oregone's log for the BCM has set a new standard. That should be required reading in my literature class, rather than some of the drivel we read. Jamie Quote Link to comment
+Marky
In fact, we just broke into the twenties this weekend: Saturday: 22 Sunday: 23 Monday: 20 65 for the long weekend isn't too bad. --Marky "All of us get lost in the darkness, dreamers learn to steer with a backlit GPSr" Quote Link to comment
