+GatoRx
First time I've ever heard of it. Sounds like a lot of fun - too bad its not being done anywhere near me. Sorry I couldn't be of much help. ---- When in doubt, poke it with a stick. Quote Link to comment

+Tsegi Mike and Desert Viking
I heard about it before. It was done in our local city. It seemed like it would be fun, but as I remember there was a steep entry fee. Unless you had a lot of disposable income (yeah right) then you needed corporate sponsorship. That requirement may have changed since I heard about it. That moss-covered bucket I hailed as a treasure, For often at noon, when I returned from the field, I found it the source of an exquisite pleasure. +Team Mumu
We've done two urban challenges, one in San Francisco and the other in San Diego. It's a lot of fun, but much more under pressure racing to find checkpoints than just geocaching. While only two people can be the "official team" you are actually allowed to have as many "ground support" or "groupies" or whatever you want to call your friends that tag along participate with you. For San Diego, we had a bunch of people split the entry fee and did it as a big group. The gory details are available on our web page for anyone interested. http://www.thesalmons.org/john/urbanchallenge/sandiego.html Quote Link to comment
