+Criminal
If there were a military room I'd post this there, but there isn't so this seems like the best spot. If you have access to military shopping, a four pack of eveready lithium batteries sells for about $10 in the BX. The same four pack costs $6.54 in the commissary. No tax in either. Commissary charges 5% for a facilities fee. http://fp1.centurytel.net/Criminal_Page/ Quote Link to comment
Alphawolf
I just bought 4 of 'em today at Wal-Mart! Oh well, I'll get at the commissary nxt time. I hope they have them at Hill AFB commissary as well. I know they have them at the BX. "Never take a sunset for granted. Stop what you are doing and enjoy it. Alphawolf
I believe they were $9.59 for 4, plus state sales tax, if I can remember right.(yesterday was a long time ago...) +Caching In
HOME DEPOT $4.11 for a double (2 AA) pack. Radio Shack has them also, but don't bother ($$$), unless you're stranded with no where else to shop. Quote Link to comment
+CWL
Do you have to have some special type of battery charger to charge a lithium? Quote Link to comment

Very true about the Shadio Rack, they're a "last resort" shop for me. http://fp1.centurytel.net/Criminal_Page/ Quote Link to comment

+RobAGD
Ok the Lithium batteries are typically marketed in the Photo section of most stores. I use them in the high draw loader for my paintball guns. They are awsome but NOT RECHARGABLE. I use them for weight they are very light and they last at least 2x as long as the E2's and Ultras I had used before. Wally World your looking at about $9.50 for 4 and 4.80 for 2. I wouldn't use these in a GPS only because the expence. I would just buy 12 NiMH and a good quality charger. I still have my orginall set of NiMH's from 98 or so and they are going strong. -Robert Quote Link to comment
