+EtrexRose
After you have found someone with a rino and talked to them, you should see whre they are on the map. Every 30 seconds, you can press the call button or the talk button and send your position so the other rino user knows where you are. What the polling feature does is allow the other rino user to see where you are without you actually sending your position. He clicks on you on the map or on you on the contact bar on the map, and in the menu clicks poll or something like that, then it will automatically get your position. He can also click say 15 seconds after he got your position and his rino will wait till 30 seconds have passed then get your position. 1. you must establish a contact first 2. you must make sure he has allow polling or something like that on 3. you must initiate teh polling by telling your rino to get poll him and then you get his position! for more info, garmin has released a manual update thingy on their website to discuss the new updates and polling feature in great detail. I do what I gotta do, when I GOTTA do it. Quote Link to comment
