Looks cool, but....

Check availability - it isn't!

"Jack of all trades..." - better get a good FRS and stick with the Vista. You will save some bucks.

The Vista is a great caching tool. The FRS is little more than an added toy.

Why build FRS & GPSr into one unit?

The reason it looked attractive is because I am primarliy a backpacker and a 2 in one unit = less weight but if the radio is not that great then it wouldn't be worth it???
