eb_ii
I am looking for a new GPS and was wondering if anyone has used the Rino 120, what was good, bad etc about it. I am kind of used to the Etrex Vista (my dad has one) Thank You!! Quote Link to comment

You will save some bucks. The Vista is a great caching tool. The FRS is little more than an added toy. Why build FRS & GPSr into one unit? Zeolites unite! Quote Link to comment

The reason it looked attractive is because I am primarliy a backpacker and a 2 in one unit = less weight but if the radio is not that great then it wouldn't be worth it??? Quote Link to comment
Brasileiro
The radio on the rino 110 isn't that great. The output is .5 watts with FRS, and only 1 watt with GMRS. I played around with it last weekend and I was not impressed with the radio end of it. Quote Link to comment
+st_richardson
I love my pair of Rino 120 GPSs. Search the forums to check out my Rino review. Quote Link to comment
