can gps unit be adjusted?

Recommended Posts

I find a ball peen hammer works best for adjustments.

If that doesn't work just recognize that your old GPS probably isn't the same due to two decimal places in the MM.MM and your wifes is MM.MMM

If you type in coordinates you will find you are off a little anyway but about 25-50 due to that last decimal.

Now if your old garmin does have MM.MMM then just ignore my post. Half the time I'm talking out of left field anyway.

I don't know if this will help, but my meridian platinum was quite a way out from my tomtom2 setup, I changed the height setting on the meridian to 3D from 2D and the now match almost perfectly.

Life is just an illusion, albeit a very elaborate one.

My GPS 300 tells me I a ALWAYS in Springer Lake, California. The display STAYS on 119.00.03 and 37.00.00.

Nothing ever changes,

it all stays the same,

only the visual ranges,

vary in the game.

If I could get the thing to work, I would PLACE the caches I have ready...

Is it more important to know what you are talking about,

or more important to talk about what you know?

the seeking is in the knowing

and not where you've been

Travelling is the going

isn't learning Keen?
