  1. Twin 3" 50 Rapid-fire mount. Cut my teeth on one of those many years back.
  2. Thank you! I will relay this to the folks who drafted me for their spokesperson. Well done Miz Crow!

  4. Check with you ISP, see if they've changed the settings on their Spam filters recently. Perhaps the content is being stipped out by them.
  5. Yes, for me too, 99.9% of the posts/threads in the Off-Topic section make no sense to me at all. That's the whole point; they're there purely for entertainment and relaxation.
  6. I'm not aware of another 5/5 event 'cache, however that's not saying much. That aside, this, being directly Geocaching related, is probably not appropriate for Off-topic. I'd suggest closing this topic and opening it in Geocaching Topics, or asking a moderator to move it for you. Edit: What makes it a 5/5?
  7. Hi, wondering if anyone "down" there in Kiwi would mind helping out a Canadian TB with a very specific goal? If you could/would help, could you pls PM me via this forum or e-mail me via the GC.com main website? Thank-you very much! tirediron
  8. That's the annoying thing; it seems totally random. It happened a while back for a few months, and then after a couple of months of randomly having to re-accept the agreement, they appeared every week regular as clockwork. Now, it's back to having to accept the agreement weekly... annoying!
  9. I posed this question a year or two ago, but got no satisfactor answer. Then for some reason, the problem disapeared. It's surfaced again, and while not serious, it annoys the **** out of me. I normally only have on PQ that runs once a week. It's been unchanged in parameters for probably 2 1/2 years. For the last few months (probably close to a year) it's shown up every Friday, just like clockwork. Then a couple of weeks ago, there it wasn't. Same thing next week, no PQ . I went to the PQ page, and sure enough, it told me that I had to agree to the License Agreement (this was last week, Wednesday-ish) and so I did. Friday there was my PQ, just like it should be. All is right with the world, yes? Well, no, apparently not. Wanting to run my query a day early, I went to the page to change the date, and guess what? Yep, had to agree to the License Agreement AGAIN! So, can someone please tell me why??????? Is GC.com changing the agreement that often, and if so, an e-mail notice would be nice. Does anyone else have this problem?
  10. In deference to the direction of the omnipotent KA... I submit Dragontree, that while they may not give you the same enjoyment that other 'caches do, there are those that like them. I quite like urban micros. Granted, if there is real, wild Tupperware hidden in the woods, I'll go for that, but I don't mind a lamp-skirt micro. May I suggest that if you don't like them, don't hunt them. If they're in a place that you feel could be better served by a traditional 'cache, contact the person(s) who placed the 'cache and discuss with them the idea of your replacing it.
  11. May I suggest that before submitting your posts you type them in a word-processing application which will allow you to check spelling, grammar and punctuation? This will make it much easier for other forum readers to understand the wealth of innovative ideas you wish to share.
  12. Hi, a good friend of mine's TB Deco to Go has landed in the Redwood Shores Library 'cache. I would realllly appreciate it if someone could grab this bug and pop it in the mail to me. I will be glad to pay for postage. Thanks!
  13. I'm looking for trackable coins, preferably not personal ones.. Regional or provincial would be ideal. I'll keep checking. Thanks.
  14. I'm looking for some new BC-related/Western Cdn themed 'coins. I have heard a rumour of a new BC Geocoin, but haven't seen any info on it. Does anyone have info or a source? Thanks!
  15. Maybe a skin tone would be nice. Nudecacher
  16. I would very much like to, HOWEVER, I think perhaps there needs to be a short hiatus? Maybe let things return to "normal"? I'm definitely in though!
  17. Which (singular) one of us are you calling a 'gentleman?' I am offended by your presumption...you, who should know better. My Dear Crow, I stand corrected! "Ladies, gentlemen, and kids of all ages" My most humble and hearfelt apologies for this egregious breach of etiquette! Please, allow me to blame the early morning hour and lack of coffee for such an unpardonable occurrence! How about if we just Blame Canada instead? Snack anyone? Escargot?

  19. Gentleman! Please, let us not stray from the the OPs question! He is asking about Pennsylvanians in Elk County Here! I can safely say that there are neither Elk, nor Pennsylvanians, nor even Washingtonians 'here'.
  20. Perhaps some minor twistage on the part of the OP?
  21. 3 The "not know how to read maps" line is a little original, but the lack of over-the-top hyperbole and angst heavily penalizes this geocide. Cheesy, I really have to disagree with you. I can't give this one more than a 2.25 at best. While I agree that the "maps" line is one of the less common criticisms used in geocides, the poor grammar and sentence structure, along with the overall rambling nature speak to a poorly planned post.
  22. It looks like I'll be pulling into Hawaii toward the end of June for a week or so. Just wondering if any of the locals care to make some don't bother or must do 'cache recommendations. I'll be at Naval Station Pearl Harbour, and won't have transport, nor a lot of time during the day... thoughts, suggestions? TIA
  23. Still down here, too, so it apparently isn't just you. Moi aussi
  24. What Seamus and sbell said. This new "feature" is a HUGE pain in the sit-me-down. I for one, would much prefer the old, slow, unsearchable forum to this new one.
