Set Waypoint for Current Location (Android Phone App)

Only way I know to set a waypoint is by associating it with a particular geocache, and by manually entering necessary coord digits.  Is there, hidden away somewhere, a way to simply tell the app "create a waypoint for my current location coords and name it xxxxxx"?  Or maybe set up my home coords as a "pseudo-cache" and use that whenever I want to create a waypoint that has nothing to do with an actual existing cache?  Or both?

No, just on a cache page. But you don't necessarily have to type in each digit. You can just click on "my current location" when you create a new waypoint.

Or you can take a screenshot of the current coordinates and label it.

Okay, that helps a little, thanks.  And I guess I could always just use one of the caches I own as "home base" to create these "independent" waypoints.

I do that a LOT for Waymarking!
