Cache Select Page Not Loading

Last night, when I went to upload mystery caches to the website, after submitting one, I could no longer add a stage to a mystery cache (I have done this before, I know how to do it). I then refreshed the page and got stuck in an infinite loop of the select cache page just loading. It will load for hours with no result. Every time I go to hide a cache the same loading comes up, no matter what device I am on. I have no clue what to do. I have tried troubleshooting, refreshing cookies, and other ways of fixing provided on the internet. I can make an event, but I cannot hide any types of caches.

 

Help???

Were you trying to edit multiple cache pages at once, eg in separate browser tabs?

 

Groundspeak's code gets terribly confused if you do that, so don't try.

I am having the same issue. I tried rebooting and clearing my browser cache and it didn't fix the problem.

I have the same problem.  I've tried clearing the browser cache, using different browsers and using different operating systems, but I get the same problem on all of them when using my User ID.  As soon as I get to the 'Type & Location' phase of the hide process, I just see a spinning green circle in the middle of the page, none of the options on the page do anything, e.g., Geocache Type or 'Add Stage'.

 

I also tried it with another User ID.  When I get to the 'Type & Location' page  I am able to select the 'Mystery Cache' option, but then the 'Add Stage' button does nothing.  However, if I then select 'Earthcache' and then select 'Mystery Cache' again, the 'Add Stage' button starts working.  However, nothing I do on my own account unfreezes it. 

 

It is very frustrating.  I have a bunch of new cache hides I want to submit and am stalled.

Try allowing all cookies.  I have no idea if it will help here but there was a recent issue that “allow all cookies” fixed.

I'm trying to go in and post Caches too, and I get the same thing: Infinite loading. I can't get past step one. I've tried different browsers, incognito mode, I've cleared cookies/cache, I've Tried different devices and nothing.  (Mine are Mystery Caches as well, but it doesn't even let me select anything on that first page... Attached a photo of where I get stuck.)

I just went through the process of submitting a mystery cache and it went through okay past that first page. No. Buffering.

We just released a fix that should address this issue. Please let us know if you are still experiencing any issues when creating a cache.
