+sapien Posted January 7 Posted January 7 Hi there, I'm hoping someone out there knows an easy fix to my situation. Currently I have one adoption "pending". ie. I received an "adopter" email from a cache owner who wants me to adopt their cache. But at this time, I don't want to adopt that cache yet. In the meantime, I also want to send out an adoption email to another original cache owner so I can adopt their cache. However whenever I go to the https://www.geocaching.com/adopt/ webpage, I'm "stuck" at that first adoption pending page. Is there any way for me to get around it so I can send out the request to the 2nd cache owner without breaking the 1st one? Thanks. Quote

You can accept the adoption and send a message to the reviewer stating any reason to delay the "ownership" or simply Disable the cache until you can solve any impediment. Quote

It's always better to post updates as logs to the cache page. 1 Quote

I wanted to officially find the cache (and do a health check on it) first before I adopt it which is not possible at this time. I'm not sure what the reviewers have to do with this adoption. So far they haven't gotten involved. Quote
