+OusKonNé & Cétyla
Yesterday I was not able to add images to my logs. I tried again today and it still doesn't work. Under Windows 10, I click on "Upload image", I select the image on my computer, I enter the descriptive text and then, when I click on "Upload", I have no response. I tried with different browsers, without success. Image size : Only 720 Kb Am I the only one having this problem? Quote Link to comment
+Viajero Perdido
Try uploading an image that did upload successfully earlier, just as a test. That, or somebody else's uploaded image, eg right-click, save as..., then try uploading that. A while back I had problems uploading a certain kind of image with bad magic inside. (Screenshots from my phone.) When I tried opening the problem image in GIMP, it gave a most impressive technobabble message, do I want to convert from (voodoo) to (not voodoo)? When I de-voodoo'd it, finally it uploaded fine. But there should've been an error message from Groundspeak if it didn't like voodoo. +OusKonNé & Cétyla
Thank you Viajero Perdido for your answer! This morning, I opened my photo with Adobe Photoshop Elements and saved it under the same name. And now I am able to upload my photo to my log. Weird to have to do this (save the photo under the same name, without any changes to the photo). Quote Link to comment
+Viajero Perdido
Glad you found a workaround! If Groundspeak wishes to fix this (it should at least be +1'd in the bug database), here's my earlier-posted screenshot of the GIMP message, which should provide a clue as to the problem. (My first impulse was to hit the orange X and go for a walk. But I bit my lip, hit Convert, and saved it ... which produced a file that uploaded OK.)
