+DARKSIDEDAN
If you find a cache and don’t have a pen, Is it OK to take a pic of the logbook as proof you found the cache? Yes or No? 2 Quote Link to comment
+DARKSIDEDAN
As a CO, I accept photos of the logbook as proof that they attended and found the cache. On previous occasions I have not had a pen when I have found a cache and have used a photo of the log to claim the find. Many COs do not accept a photo for a found log. Quote Link to comment

Yes or No? Once in a while.... but don't make a habit of it.... I wouldn't delete a log that had a photo of the log sheet, but would get annoyed if it started to become the default. Most of ours have pens when hidden in any case. 1 Quote Link to comment
+Big Matt and Shell
In a word, no! It’s a pretty fundamental part of the process. I’ve found caches that are wet and still managed to sign. >Caches can be logged online as "Found" after the geocacher has visited the coordinates and signed the logbook. 3 2 Quote Link to comment
+Brain
A pretty straightforward answer here, not that the comments on the FB version of this post would have you believe that! Quote Link to comment

Yes or No? I've never had a problem with taking a picture of the log or the cache and sending it to the CO. Don't mind if people do this on my hides as well. Heck, I've had problems with signing the logs and the CO not finding my signature. The perfect method that some in my community do is take a picture of every single cache's log they encounted as well as signing (if possible), which probably stops them from having a lot of problems. But I'm too lazy for that. Quote Link to comment
+Sottiwotti
Depends on if I will come back to the location soon. Two days ago I found a cache, but didn't have my pen with me. It's close to my job, so the next day I went back and put my name in the logbook. Quote Link to comment
