+KYcachingguy
You need to add it in your profile editor. Save the image to your computer by right clicking on the image and clicking Save Image As. Pick a location on your computer to save the image. Go to your Geocache.com profile and click edit. In the Profile Information tab, scroll down to the editor section. In the Profile Information tab, scroll down to the About section editor and click the Source button. Place the cursor where you want the image to show and click on the Upload Image button. Select the image where you saved it on your computer. If it looks good where you have it. Click the Save Changes button at the bottom. Your EarthCache bronze award should now be showing on your profile. Alternately, you can simply add the url code in the editor if you are familiar with how to use html. That's the simplest way. No. The picture must be accessible over the internet and the file on your PC is not. You would be the only one how would see the image. So the picture needs to be uploaded eg to your gallery on gc.com or any other file hosting service (Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.) And the corresponding URL (starting with http) must be inserted in that code. I can't find an good explanation page to link to it (and I must say I just discovered that the search facility of this forum is quite poor). 1 Quote Link to comment

The WYSIWYG editor for profiles allows for image upload from a PC - it's the highlighted icon below. If one is using HTML coding, yes, I agree it would be necessary to have the image hosted somewhere. Quote Link to comment
