Favourite Points

Hi, I am a Premium member and have found 50 caches up to now, but I never received any favourite points in return... Any idea why?

You haven't received any favorite points because you haven't hidden any geocaches.  In your screenshot, that Favorite points statistic relates to points awarded to your hidden caches.

 

With 50 finds, you earned six favorite points that you can award to caches you enjoyed.  You earn one favorite point for your first find, and then one favorite point for every ten caches that you find after that.  You can see how many favorite points you have available by checking in the lower left hand column of your dashboard page on the Geocaching.com website, and it's also indicated on the logging screen.

Thank you that was helpful! I found them on the website (I have 6, yay!) but not on the app. Is awarding favourite points a website-only option?

Absolutely not! When you log a geocache look for the little heart. When tapped it will award a favorite point to that geocache.

Got it! Thanks! Is there somewhere on the app where we can see how many Favourite points we have then?

The app does not show you how many favorite points you have to give away. Not that I've seen.

I see 🤔 that would be useful though.

 

So I just tried clicking/tapping on the little heart on my favourite cache (on the app) and nothing happened 🫤 am I missing something? I had to do it through the website.

It seems to work for me when I log. Found It. But you do have to submit the log in order for the favorite to be awarded, I assume!

Thank you so much! I will pay attention to this little heart button next time. 

 

I must say, I find the UX of the app is somewhat very average sometimes 😅
