Clicking on one cache selects another on map on app

Hi,

I'm on a pixel 8, using the Geocaching.com app.

If I am on map view, and there is an area with multiple caches close together, clicking on one pin selects another. It seems to have become glitchy and inaccurate. You can experience this around geocaching hq. It also seems like I can't zoom in as much as I used to, as pins can be on-top of each other with no way to select the back one. I tried my husband's phone and same thing happens.

Thanks

For me, this started happening yesterday. Thanks for posting the problem.

I have the same problem. I was hesitant to post about this on the forum here, because I thought it might be a problem with my phone. Happy to know this isn't the case. Thank you for reporting this problem!

Hello -

Here to provide an update - we are aware of this issue and plan to work on a fix.

It still might be a little while until it is pushed to production, but it is part of our plan to address.

And I thought it was just me and sweaty fingers...after a few tries I can get the right cache to load, annoying.  Hopefully it gets worked out soon.
