Waypoints from app does not show up in webbinterface

If I add a final waypoint in the app and later want to see it reflected in the webbinterface I have to bring up the waypoint in the app and then enter it as corrected coordinates e.g. in the webbinterface. Why don't the two synch in some way? More to be done there I think.

I think it would be great if the waypoints you enter on the app could be visible on the website. I found quite a few forum discussions about this.

From the Help Center:

Enter solved coordinates on the Geocaching® app

1. Choose a Mystery Cache and select Waypoints.
2. Select Posted Coordinates under Existing Waypoints. 
3. Select the pencil icon.
4. Input new coordinates and select Save.

When you have entered solved coordinates in this way for Mystery Caches (specifically updating the POSTED COORDINATES), you will see the solved coordinates icon on the Geocaching® app and on Geocaching.com:  It will automatically sync between the app and website.
