+Chris n Maria
Lunchtime pasttime poll What do you prefer to see on a cache description: London & UK Geocaching Resources: http://www.sheps.clara.net Quote Link to comment
+The Hornet
I voted for a description but would also find parking co-ords useful. Contents are of little interest as they change so much. Sometimes photos are nice but not essential. Quote Link to comment
+Lost in Space
Building on Hornet's reply, I would like to see the nearest parking coordinates Quote Link to comment

Ben Pid
No links to sites about the cache place is the most interesting thing you can have or need on a cache site by miles.... If you don't have anything to say about the location or any link or photos then in my opinion you havent planted a cache in a prominent place....meaning I would probably give that cache a miss behind a cache in a place of interest....never mind the parking! park where you can...and as for Contents...its always interesting so needs to be there but not essential...like if theres is a £10 note in the cache I wanna knowabout it! That reminds me...I have put a Garmin ETrex leather case which cost me 15 quid in my Chiltern Summit cache, if sumone wants it then get there! but Don't re-visit because that would be cheating.... Pid Watch out its a Golfcourse... (Team Dan and Pid) Quote Link to comment

el10t
I like to see a flashy border, background music, embedded javascript, and a hint that says something like "Come off at junction 4 of the M3 to find this cache." ----------------- el10t mobilis in mobili Quote Link to comment

el10t
Pid - your caches are certainly on my list of do-next caches. I am looking forward to giving them a go next time I am up your way (we have friends in Tring so hopefully a visit nearby is on the cards soon). ----------------- el10t mobilis in mobili Quote Link to comment
LazyLeopard
No contest, assuming a good description of the area would include some mention of where'd be a good place to park... Purrs... LazyLeopard http://www.lazyleopard.org.uk Quote Link to comment

Rangers of Ithilien
We recently placed our first cache (A Silvan Sanctuary) and I had great fun using my imagination to write something which might inspire others to visit it! I am less likely to visit caches which have minimal information than others which have added info about the place. I think it shows that care has been taken with the placing of the cache. The name of a decent nearby pub is also a good idea! Bonus! Quote Link to comment
