+Jayeffel Posted September 10, 2023 Posted September 10, 2023 There is a new cache out which I found, but I also found a container with a dating back to 2017 entries. It was an archive3d chance that was not removed. The cache should have been on my list to find but I do not recall a cache there - archived after I joined. Is there a way to find a list archived caches somehow? Be nice to know if I did find it, but like I said I do not really stopping there. I think I will survive if not. Quote

I've successfully identified caches that I've stumbled upon (including archived caches that I've stumbled upon) by figuring out the names in the log, and looking up the caches logged as found by those accounts on the corresponding dates. 2 Quote

Enter the country and region (and county, optional) where you located the cache. Tick "None found" beside "Show". Under "Add filter", click "Show disabled/archived". Tick both boxes. If you happen to have coordinates, under "Add filter", click "Centre/radius" and enter details. Enter a small radius like 1km/1mi. Click "Filter". However, in this particular case, the CO of the new hide has helped you out. The old, archived one is GC24D70. Looks like it got archived in 2019 by a familiar name. +Jayeffel Posted September 11, 2023 Author Posted September 11, 2023 Got it , but the easy way--- just entered cache number under "Search" and click "View Cache" for some reason did not work yesterday, maybe clicked on cache name ,notView. Turns out I did find that earlier cache 2/5/2017, a few months after I started caching, just did not remember that place. The new cache is I interesting in manner hidden, easily overlooked. Quote
