What do you expect when finding an Earthcache?

My question is this - When you find an Earthcache, do you expect to find all information at Ground Zero? Or do you like Earthcaches where you are required to Google the information? Maybe a mix of both?

The Help Centre says that requiring online research is an unacceptable logging task, although I've seen quite a few ECs that expect that:

 

 

If I encounter one like that in the field, I'll usually just walk away shaking my head. It should be answerable just from reading the cache page and making observations at GZ.

I have found a few where you are required to look up additional information online.

The only one I can think of was the Denver Airport earthcache where we had to identify the type of creature which left that fossil. Google helped there.

 

If I'm going to try for an EC I will usually print the questions and answer as many as possible at home.
