+capoaira Posted December 16, 2022 Posted December 16, 2022 (edited) Hello, if log attend or will attend, these days will be marked green in the Calendar. I also will attend my own events, but there I don't have to log it (because it's obvious that I attend). So I wonder, that these days are not marked green. Edited December 16, 2022 by capoaira Quote
+Jayeffel Posted December 16, 2022 Posted December 16, 2022 I can only guess, but I would suspect the system only recognizes a "will attend" and marks it green; did you try logging attendance yourself? Quote

The Event widget in its current form doesn't check for who owns the Event. That said, it's something that one could consider for future improvements to the Event widget. That'd require some more considerations though: Should own Events also be green or a different color? What if an own and another Event one has will attended fall on the same day? Should there also be a way to see whether friends are planning to attend an Event (the list goes on ) For now it functions as expected. 1 Quote

But as I wrote, IMO that should be unnecessary, because it is obvious that I (will) attend my own event. 5 hours ago, Bl4ckH4wkGER said: That said, it's something that one could consider for future improvements to the Event widget. I would be happy about it. IMO it would be nice, if these days/events are handled like events with attend/will attend. (Green marked and show it also if thay are outside the normal radius) Quote
+Jayeffel Posted December 17, 2022 Posted December 17, 2022 I know of a few events where the CO set it up but could not attend for some reason, that would mess up the automatic attendance marking. Quote 1 Quote

Yes, ok. It is allways possible that you get ill or some other unexpected things will happen. But that is the same with a WA log. You cannot undo your WA in the calendar. It also doesn't help to delete the log. Quote
